Recently, I had my first day of class, which was Collaborating in Online Communities. We went over the syllabus, outlining our goals for the semester. We also talked about the overall definition of community, also breaking it down to multiple meanings. The most agreed definition for community was that it is a big group of people all sharing something in common, whether that be a location or school. Continuing this topic, we eventually led into the social networking community. I use a lot of Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat, staying in touch with family a friends. In current society our generation is very involved with the social networks, which are like online communities. Other than networking for social purposes, the online community is also a great use for schooling and work. Being able to have access to all these different communities helps a lot with communication and being able to have access to things that may not be in a proximal community to you. Blogs will hol
